Raiders' Michael Crabtree: Catches a touchdown
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Crabtree caught three of his seven targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.

Crabtree capped off a spectacular bounce-back season Sunday with his ninth touchdown, which matched his previous career high from 2012 when he was playing for the 49ers. The 28-year-old also matched his career-high in receptions with 85, a number that he also achieved in 2012. The Raiders took a flyer on the free agent after he seemed to be on a steady decline following a season-ending knee injury in 2013, and it certainly paid off. He'll continue to be one of the top receiving options heading into next year, as he and Amari Cooper figure to give opposing defenses fits in the secondary. Crabtree is under contract for the next three years at a minimum, so things are looking up for the Raiders.

Raiders' Michael Crabtree: Leads team in targets, catches TD Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Michael Crabtree caught six of his team-high eight targets for 39 yards and a touchdown Thursday against the Chargers.

It was a somewhat productive night for Crabtree, although one would have hoped he could crack 40 yards receiving with Amari Cooper (foot) limited for much of the game. The Oakland Raiders passing attack was underwhelming in general, and they will not have any easier of a time next week in Kansas City. Crabtree could be Derek Carr's top target again in Week 17 if Cooper continues to be limited by his ailing foot.

Raiders' Michael Crabtree: Collects 70 yards receiving in Week 15 loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Crabtree secured six of 11 targets for 70 yards in Sunday's 30-20 loss to the Packers.

Crabtree continues to be Derek Carr's most targeted wideout on most weeks, now having tallied double-digit looks in three of his last five games. Notably, the veteran receiver saw some depth on his receptions against the Packers, getting his yards-per-catch average into the double digits for the first time since Week 10 against the Vikings. Consequently, his 70 yards also represented his best total in that category since his last 100-yard game, which came in Week 9 versus the Steelers. The business relationship between Crabtree and the Raiders has certainly been mutually beneficial, with Carr taking a significant step forward as a result of Crabtree's contributions, and the veteran receiver retaining an outside chance of surpassing his career-high 85 receptions if he can haul in 10 passes over the final two games.

Raiders' Michael Crabtree: Under evaluation for concussion
by RotoWire Staff | Special to

Crabtree left Sunday's contest against the Packers to be evaluated for a concussion but eventually returned.

Prior to his departure, Crabtree corralled three receptions for 34 yards. With Seth Roberts tending to an abdominal injury and Rod Streater (non-injury) inactive, the Raiders' WR corps could be whittled down to Crabtree, Amari Cooper (foot), Andre Holmes, and Jeremy Ross for the rest of the second half.

Raiders' Michael Crabtree: Catches four passes for just 19 yards
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Michael Crabtree caught four of five targets for just 19 yards in Sunday's 15-12 comeback win at Denver.

Crabtree wasn't much of a factor, but Derek Carr struggled outside of a pair of second half touchdowns. The veteran wideout had scored in each of the last two games, but hasn't made many big plays or been as involved since posting consecutive 100-yard games at the beginning of November. He'll try to get back on track from a production standpoint next week against Green Bay.
