Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Struggles until garbage time in NFC championship loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Rodgers completed 27 of 45 passes for 287 yards with three touchdowns and an interception while rushing four times for 46 yards in Sunday's 44-21 NFC championship game loss to Atlanta.

The Rodgers-led Packers offense was shut out in the first half, and couldn't break the ice until he found Davante Adams from two yards out to make it 31-7 with 9:19 left in the third quarter. He later added touchdowns to Jordy Nelson and Jared Cook, but that production was much too little too late. Rodgers was intercepted by Ricardo Allen in the first half, and had another pick reversed by the replay official on his second scoring drive. While the star quarterback did a great job of running the table to get his team to this point following a 4-6 start, there's no doubt the better team prevailed Sunday.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Heads into weekend with illness
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Rodgers said Friday that he's dealing with a slight illness, NFL.com reports, but he does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's NFC championship game against the Falcons.

Mason Crosby missed Wednesday's practice due to illness and wideout Jordy Nelson (ribs) was told to stay home while sick Friday, so something's clearly going around Green Bay's locker room. Nonetheless, that bug isn't considered cause for concern, as Rodgers said that rest and fluids would help his system be fine in time for Sunday's kickoff. That sentiment is supported by Rodgers being absent from Green Bay's injury report, but the Packers will still certainly hope he returns to health as soon as possible.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Clutch in crunch time once more in divisional-round win
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Rodgers completed 28 of 43 passes for 356 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 34-31 divisional-round victory over the Cowboys. He also gained 16 yards on two rushes.

Rodgers added to the burgeoning legend of his storybook 2016 campaign with a superb all-around performance, and yet another completion that defied the odds and set the Packers up for a game-winning field-goal attempt. The perennial Pro Bowler helped Green Bay build a 28-13 lead by early in the third quarter with a pair of scoring throws to his tight ends, hitting Richard Rodgers for a 34-yard touchdown in the first quarter and then finding Jared Cook from three yards out on the first possession of the second half. However, after the Packers defense allowed that edge to evaporate, it was Rodgers to the rescue, first leading an eight-play, 37-yard drive that culminated in a 56-yard field goal by Mason Crosby that snapped a 28-28 tie. After Dak Prescott did a pretty good Rodgers impression on the subsequent drive, which ended in a game-tying 52-yard field goal by Dan Bailey, Rodgers rolled left on third down with 18 seconds remaining and threw across his body 36 yards downfield to Cook, who just managed to keep his feet inbounds and make a spectacular catch. That led to Mason Crosby's 51-yard game-winning field goal as time expired, sending Rodgers to his third conference championship game. Factoring in Sunday's production, Rodgers has now completed 53 of 83 passes for 718 yards with six touchdowns and just one interception in two postseason contests, with what should be a high-scoring shootout against Matt Ryan on tap.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Throws four touchdowns in win over Giants
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Rodgers completed 25 of 40 passes for 362 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 38-13 victory over the Giants.

The Green Bay offense got off to a slow start through the first quarter, but Rodgers caught fire thereafter and posted a 125.2 passer rating while delivering the best quarterback performance of the young postseason. Jordy Nelson was lost to injury in the first half, but Rodgers didn't appear to be fazed and connected with Davante Adams and Randall Cobb for a combined 241 yards and four scores. Rodgers is playing as well as anyone going at the moment and will need to put on another strong performance as his squad heads to Dallas for the divisional round.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Runs the table
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Rodgers completed 27 of 39 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 31-24 victory over the Lions. He added nine carries for 43 rushing yards.

Not only was Rodgers' prophecy that the Packers would "run the table" (by going 6-0 to end the season) fulfilled on Sunday, Rodgers himself became the first Packers QB to ever throw for at least 300 passing yards and four touchdowns in back-to-back games while engineering the first offense all season to rack up over 30 points in Detroit's home stadium. As an added bonus for fantasy owners and DFS patrons alike, he also gained his most yardage on the ground since Week 9. Because Sunday's victory secured the No. 4 seed for Green Bay, the team now awaits a home date against the Giants in the first round of the playoffs. Especially if New York's top corner Janoris Jenkins (back) can't play, Rodgers could find himself in position to post another massive fantasy total against the league's 22nd-ranked defense in passing yards allowed per game.
