| Spencer signs franchise tender: ESPN reports that the Cowboys announced that linebacker Anthony Spencer signed his franchise tender at $10.6 million on Tuesday. Spencer, who was given the franchise tag for the second year in a row, led Dallas with 95 total tackles and had 11 sacks in 14 games last season. (Updated 3/12/13) |

| Spencer finished as a Top-30 linebacker, but barely. The good news is that the Cowboys look like they're headed to a 4-3 scheme under new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin. With Spencer now staying with Dallas he'll likely be transitioned to the defensive line. That would give him added value as a DL in Fantasy. Count on that happening and plan on drafting him with a mid-round pick. (Updated 3/12/13). |
