| Jones 'ready' to be Packers' top WR: Packers receiver James Jones told NFL Network he's prepared to play as the team's No. 1 receiver in the event Greg Jennings leaves via free agency this spring. Such a development is expected. Jones did add, however, that being the No. 1 receiver is just a title and not necessarily a role that guarantees a certain amount of work because quarterback Aaron Rodgers knows he must spread the ball around. Jones had only 784 yards on 64 catches but hauled in a ridiculous 14 touchdowns along the way while starting all 16 games in 2012. (Updated 2/19/13) |

| Jones is expected to share the field with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, but if 2012 is any indication he should dominate the playing time. He was on the field 91.5 percent of the time according to ProFootballFocus.com, including two games over the course of the regular season and postseason where he didn't miss a snap. Combine that with his impressive red-zone touchdown percentage and Jones sizes up as one of Draft Day's best possible bargains. We love the idea of sliding Jones onto rosters as a No. 2 receiver but coming out of the season as a Top 15 type. (Updated 2/19/13). |
