Sean Smith cited for DUI
by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer

Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith was cited for driving under the influence and careless driving after an officer allegedly saw him drive into a light pole early Monday morning in Kansas City, reports the Kansas City Star.

The Chiefs issued a statement Tuesday regarding the alleged incident.

"We are aware of the situation involving Sean Smith. Whenever one of our players is involved in an incident like this it is disappointing. We will have no further comment at this time as this is an ongoing legal matter."

Smith was at practice Tuesday as the Chiefs kicked off their third week of organized training activities. However, he took the majority of his reps with the second team as Ron Parker — a backup last year — got most of the work with the first team.
