by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com

Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline was unable to return to the field in Week 17, after suffering a knee injury in the first quarter.  Hartline suffered the injury on his second reception of the game, and it would prove to be a season-ender as the Dolphins' season came to an end.

Hartline finished the game with two receptions for 38 yards, bringing his totals for the season to 76 for 1,016 yards, his second 1,000-yard season in a row. The extent of the injury is not yet known.

Dolphins healthy for Sunday game
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

The Dolphins have placed 10 players on their Friday injury report, but only running back Daniel Thomas (ankle) is questionable for the critical battle against the Jets. The others are probable, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee). The other offensive players are wide receivers Brian Hartline (knee) and Marlon Moore (wrist).

The defensive probables are defensive backs Jamar Taylor (hamstring), Don Jones (elbow/abdomen) and Chris Clemons (knee/hamstring), linebacker Koa Misi (triceps) and tackles Jared Odrick (wrist) and Paul Soliai (ankle).

Dolphins receiving duo nearing twin milestones
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com

The Dolphins enter Week 17 against the Jets with plenty to play for, including a potential playoff spot. Wide receivers Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace are playing for something else as well this Sunday; a spot in team history.

Hartline leads the team with 978 receiving yards on the season, with Wallace right behind him at 905. If both players reach 1,000 yards, they will become the first Dolphins duo to do so since 1991, and just the third to do so in the team's history.

Wallace has the tougher road ahead of him to reach the milestone, with 95 yards in front of him. All Hartline has to do is replicate his performance against the Jets in Week 13 (127 yards), while Wallace needs to do a bit more than his seven-catch, 82-yard showing in that game.

Few teams throw the ball more than the Dolphins, and the Jets have proven vulnerable against the pass, so both players have a good chance to put up numbers. Against a Jets defense that allows the ninth-most Fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, both Hartline and Wallace have value for Fantasy purposes. Consider Wallace a solid starter, while Hartline remains more of a low-end choice.
