One of the most memorable scenes from the Flyers' apperance on HBO's 24/7 was the locker-room dance session. Specifically, the part where the Flyers danced to their victory song by Pittsburgh rapper -- yes, he's from Pittsburgh -- Mac Miller, Knock, Knock.
Say what you will about the song, it has a good beat and it certainly was a hit with the players. Hey, whatever keeps the morale up is good for everybody.
But with a new season comes a new victory song, and according to Frank Seravalli after the Flyers' win in Winnpeg on Tuesday, it appears the Flyers have one. I'm just taking a guess here, but I can't imagine this is as good for everybody's morale as Miller's beat.
Why not? Because it's a song called Bring Out the Bottles by Redfoo. If you don't know who Redfoo is, he is the son of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy -- and half of the duo that makes up the electro-pop/rap group LMFAO.
Have fun with that, Flyers locker room. Maybe that's why the Flyers haven't been winning as much this season -- some of them just don't want to hear the song, no matter the price. Or that would probably just be me.
Call me crazy, but I'd take the Oilers' Pitbull goal song over this.
